CLUB OFFENSES

All clubs failing to meet the requirements set forth in this manual are subject to receiving strikes.  If a club receives two strikes within the same semester the club will be placed on probation.  If a club has three strikes within the same semester the club account will be frozen and may lead to the termination of the club.  Some offenses automatically place a club on probation and some will automatically send the club to Judicial Board.  The IMRS office reserves the right to increase the punishment of certain offenses.  The following is a list of possible offenses:

The following offenses will cause a club to be sent to Judicial Board

  1. Failure to comply with the Code of Student Life Policy. (Pages 41-87 of the University of Arkansas Student Handbook)
  2. Failure to comply with the University policy on Alcohol and Drug Use.

The following offenses will place a club on immediate probation

  1. Failure to obtain a liability form for each Sport Club member and an updated roster.
  2. Allowing an illegal participant to practice/compete with the club.  Possible termination of club.
  3. Failure to meet as an organization at least twice a semester and turn in minutes.
  4. Failure to contact Bill Mock or Kelly Russell if serious injuries requiring medical attention occur.
  5. Failure to comply with IMRS facility/equipment usage.
  6. Failure to comply with computer usage and web site regulations.

The following offenses will cause a club to earn 1 strike.

  1. Failure to attend a Sport Club Officer Advisory Meeting.
  2. Failure to complete forms by their respective due dates.
  3. Failure to provide IMRS with a current schedule of practice, game dates, times, and locations.
  4. Failure to report an accident to the IMRS office within 24 hours.
  5. Failure to return checked out equipment by due dates.
  6. Failure to bring University ID to practice and games.
