BECOMING A SPORT CLUB

In order to become an officially recognized and funded sport club within the Intramural/Recreational Sports Program a group should provide the following documents:

A written constitution and by-laws.
A list of all club members, including student ID numbers and email addresses. Team sports must have enough eligible interest people to field a team. Non-team sports must have at least five eligible interested people.
The name of the club advisor, which shall be a full or part time faculty or staff person employed at the University of Arkansas. Club advisors are recommended but not mandatory.

Any group wishing to become a club should contact the Associate Director of Intramural/Recreational Sports or the Sport Club Graduate Assistant to set up an appointment. After all requirements are met the newly formed club will serve a one year probation period before receiving full financial support from the Sport Club Program.
