HPER Building Improvements Continue

HPER Paint Project

Over the summer, the Facility Management Program of Intramural/Recreational Sports has been busy making improvements throughout the HPER building.  We hope that these improvements will lead to a much improved learning and recreational environment for students, faculty, and staff, as well as brighten the HPER Building.  Changes on the first level included new carpeting outside the racquetball courts, rubber treads on the stairs, a new floor tile, removal of the old lockers, freshly painted walls, and new seating.  The seating is the only item missing, but is scheduled to be completed early this fall.  Changes on the second level consisted of painting the walls and replacing the fitness center equipment.  Changes on the third level include new office furniture for faculty and staff, the removal of the old tennis lockers, and freshly painted walls.  The new office furniture was provided by the College of Education and Health Professions.
