Ambre graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison last spring and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Recreation Management, here at the University of Arkansas. Ambre has been teaching group fitness since the spring of 2008. She has taught strength, cycle, and circuit classes. Ambre has been an ACE certified Personal Trainer for 2 years and recently became certified by SPIN Fitness. She is starting her first year as the Graduate Assistant responsible for overseeing the Group Exercise and Mind/Body group fitness classes, as well as the Personal Training program. |

Amber is an Arkansas Alumni with an Accounting degree. Her fitness certifications include AFAA Primary Group Exercise, Zumba, and Powder Blue Productions TurboKick and Hip Hop Hustle. She has been dancing since age three and competively since thirteen years old. She has a special love for Hip Hop and Latin cardio. When not working during the day, you can usually find her at the gym, wellness center, or in the park. "First comes the sweat and then comes the beauty if you're lucky and say your prayers." |

Currently teaches Yoga Flow, Hustle, Turbokick™, and Group Cycle |
|
Ashlee has a Master's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas. She also completed her undergraduate studies here in the same field. She is certified in PiYo™, Turbokick™, Hip Hop Hustle™, and has experience teaching a huge variety of classes. In addition, Ashlee is a certified Personal Trainer. Her favorite part of group fitness is the fact that she gets to interact with such energetic and enthusiastic paticipants. |

Stacey is an undergraduate here at the University of Arkansas and teaches mind/body group fitness classes. |

Chance is a senior Dietetics major with 3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and 2 years as a Group Exercise instructor. He has worked with people of all fitness levels, from beginners all the way up to elite athletes. |

Kristin is the Graduate Assitant for Special Events. She recently completed her certification in SPIN Fitness. Kristin graduated from the University of Texas and is beginning her first year as a graduate student, pursuing a master's degree in Recreation Management. Kristin likes long walks on the beach and High School Musical 3. |

Lauren is going on her third year of teaching! She is a senior middle level education major. She has a passion for working out and the instructor training program led to her involvement with group exercise. She loves encouraging others and showing them that working out can be fun! She recently recieved her TurboKick certification. |

Katie is a Biology Pre-Med major and teaches a large variety of classes here at the HPER. Katie enjoys the high-energy atmosphere of group exercise classes and loves to see participants have fun in her workouts! |

Currently teaches Beginner Belly Dance, Advanced Belly Dance, and Zumba™ |
|
Brenda Flack is a graduate student in the Cell and Molecular Biology Department and has been teaching Tribal Style Belly Dance for 3 years. Tribal Style Belly Dance incorporates different styles of belly dance from Morroco, Egypt, and Turkey. It is a powerful dance that is designed for all women of any size and age. Brenda believes that dancing not only helps to shape the body but also the mind. |

Tracy has been teaching at the HPER for two years. She is PiYo™ certified as well as 300 hour certified. She will be teaching core yoga this semester, a core class with pilates incorporated. |

Currently teaches Yoga-All levels |
|
Todd Verrone has been teaching since 2002. He teaches a general Hatha Yoga class in the Sivananda tradition with influences from and forays into the Lyengar and Ashtanga lexicons. Todd loves working with students on a regular basis and making progress in practice together. He is Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certified. |

Lydia Michaels has received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Arkansas. She is originally from Conway, AR and has been living in Fayetteville for the last three years. She is certified in PiYo™ and is also trained in yoga, ballet and West African dance styles. She incorporates blended movement and stretching styles into her classes to challenge and improve students’ strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. |

Candace is a student here at the University of Arkansas. She has not yet declared her major. She teaches Zumba™ and loves to help participants have fun and improve their fitness! |

Monique is an AFAA certified group exercise instructor. She is a senior Exercise Physiology/ Biomechanics major and plans on going to PT school to become a physical therapist. This is her second year teaching group fitness. She has been dancing since the age of two and loves choreographing. Monique loves working out and loves showing others how to enjoy a workout. |

Brooke is a senior Dietetics major and is planning to continue on to a dietetics internship. Her longterm goal is to be a sport dietician at the collegiate level. Brooke's certifications include AFAA Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, and PiYo. Brooke has had experience with a variety of people and enjoys interacting with group fitness participants. |

Amy began practicing yoga through rehabilitation due to a car accident and she credits yoga for her strong recovery from a back and brain injury last year. She has recieved her certification through Yoga Alliance and has been teaching yoga for the past two years through private instruction. Her purpose is to help people find an enjoyable experience in their beginning yoga practice by developing a mind/body connection. |

Allie is a nursing student who has recently entered group fitness. She is originally from Oklahoma. Allie is a new Group Cycle instructor and she's really excited about starting to teach! |

Sarah is a kinesiology major and hopes to be an athletic trainer after graduation. Her favorite part of teaching group fitness is seeing the regulars in her class, with whom she can get to know and have fun. |

Paige is a Human Nutrition major. She teaches a variety of classes, such as Turbokick™ and Group Cycle. Paige loves to interact with participants, and make sure that everyone has a great workout! |

Hiedi has a bachelor degree from the University of Arkansas in Kinesiology and is currently finishing her last year in the Exercise Science masters program. She has been teaching Turbokick™ for over a year and her favorite part about teaching is the energetic atmosphere. |

Zoe is originally from Bolivia, and is here studying to get her degree in Nursing. She teaches Turbokick™ and is very enthusiastic about creating a fun and exciting atmosphere! |

Alex is a Fitness Specialist major. She very recently earned her certification as an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and loves teaching! She was a member of the gymnastics team for four years and brings her skills and knowledge to her classes! |

Colton is an Earth Science major and plans to be a high school teacher once he graduates. He teaches aqua classes and is also a swim instructor. Colton has a lot of fun teaching aqua classes, and enjoys helping people get into shape. |
