FACILITY AND FIELD USE

Facility Use

1. The schedulers of facilities will be subject to University and individual facility-use policies.  Clubs will be expected to comply with the rules and regulations established for the use of each facility by the University of Arkansas and/or its designated representative.

2. The scheduling of games, matches, tournaments, etc., must be coordinated by the club advisor, the club president, and approved by the Associate Director Intramural/Recreational Sports.

3. Each club must furnish the Intramural/Recreational Sports Office with a current schedule of both practice and game dates, time and locations.

4. The use of facilities other than University property must be coordinated through the Intramural/Recreational Sports Office.

5. Each club wishing to use HPER facilities must submit Facility Reservation Request Form at the beginning of each semester.  The forms are available in the Intramural/Recreational Office in HPER 225.  A club officer will then meet with the IMRS Facility Coordinator to finalize activity arrangements.

6. All University classes for credit have facility priority.  The IMRS offers many non-credit classes through the semester. These classes may take priority over sports club facility use as well.

7. Once an area has been reserved, it must be used.  Failure to cancel a Facility Request jeopardizes that clubs ability to use the facility in the future.

Field Use

1. Each club wishing to use outdoor Intramural facilities must submit a Reservation Request Form to the Associate Director of Intramural/Recreational Sports at the beginning of each semester.  The forms are available in the Intramural/Recreational Sports Office.

2. The fields are NEVER to be used during or immediately after rainy weather.  Gates will normally be locked during rainy conditions.  NOTE:  depending on the amount of rain received, it may take the fields several days to dry.  Whenever there is a question as to practicing or playing a schedule game, call the Intramural/Recreational Sports Office and speak with the Associate Director or Sport Club Graduate Assistant.  Playing on wet fields may lead to suspension from the Sports Club Organization and/or fines to pay for damage repair.
