Professional Biography:
Jeremy graduated from Central Michigan University in May of 2003 with a B.S. in elementary education. After teaching third grade for a semester, Jeremy moved to Arkansas and received his M.Ed. degree in recreation in May of 2005, while serving as a graduate assistant for Intramural/Recreational Sports. Jeremy received his AMR First Aid/CPR Instructor Certification in August 2004, Certified Pool Operator Certification in March 2005, Water Safety Instructor Certification in May 2006. Jeremy has been a member of National Intramural Recreational Sports Association for four years.
Job Duties:
Jeremy is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HPER Building with the Intramural/Recreational Sports program. His job duties include scheduling facility needs, establishing HPER Building policies and operating procedures, coordinating membership and locker services for HPER members, hiring, training, evaluating and managing more than 70 student employees, supervising three full-time staff members and part-time student payroll operations, assisting in the planning, staffing and administration of all special events that require rental or reservation of the HPER facility, working closely with student employee advisory committee, and attending program, department, college and university meetings.
