EQUIPMENT CHECK-OUT
GENERAL PROCEDURES

Only individuals with a valid University or HPER I.D. membership may check out equipment. The Outdoor Center is located on the first floor of the HPER building in room 102. You may reserve equipment up to 2 weeks prior to the desired date; phone reservations are not permitted. When checking out equipment, please completely fill out the rental form and pay with a check, cash, Visa/MasterCard/Discover, Razorbuck$ or a University cost center number.

All equipment should be properly maintained and returned clean, dry, in good repair, and on the due date to avoid the repair, replacement, or late charges.
All late, damaged and replacement fees are due upon return of equipment.  If OCC staff discover damage to equipment during maintenance and cleaning, renter is responsible and must pay for damage or replacement costs.  Please read the renter's agreement for more information.

Inspect all equipment prior to rental. If you have any questions on use, please don’t hesitate to ask our friendly staff. Day, weekend, and weekly rentals are available on all equipment. If you are needing rental equipment for an extended amount of time, please see the OCC for discounted rates.

The Outdoor Connection Center has recently purchased new boats, stoves, sleeping bags, tents, PFDs, and lots of other new equipment. The equipment was purchased from quality companies like Kelty, MSR, Jackson Kayaks, Wilderness Systems, and Northface. Come visit the Outdoor Connection Center and let us help you “go outside and play” in the beautiful forests and streams of Arkansas!
