The University of Arkansas and Intramural/Recreational Sports are NOT responsible for injuries to participants or spectators while competing in Intramural Sports. Participants should understand that injuries are an inherent part of all sports activities. Health ad accident insurance is strongly recommended for all students prior to participation in any intramural event. Doctor's instructions concerning physical handicaps, injuries, illness, and involvement in activities should be carefully followed. Managers are responsible for ensuring that team members understand all of these policies.
Participation in all activities in the HPER Building, on the Intramural Fields, or in any program sponsored by the College of Education and Health Professions or the Intramural/Recreational Sports department, regardless of location, is voluntary on behalf of all participants. All participants knowledge and agree that University of Arkansas does not provide insurance for any of its activities and shall not be liable for any injuries that occur at any of these locations or in any of its programs.
