Professional Biography:

A native of Florence, Ala., Bill received a bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from the University of North Alabama in 1985. Bill then served as a graduate assistant at the University of Mississippi while receiving his Master of Education in Recreation Administration in 1987. After receiving his master’s degree, Bill accepted a position as Athletic Director for the Parks and Recreation Department in Ocala, Fla.  In January 1988, he began his current position as Associate Director of Intramural/Recreational Sports.  

Job Duties:

As the director of Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs, he is responsible for providing opportunities for the students, faculty and staff to participate in safe recreational activities in a competitive atmosphere. Bill and his three graduate assistants offer more than 40 Intramural Sports activities and provide leadership for 24 Sport Clubs each year. Bill has also served on several national, state, local and university committees.
